IE PARTNERS (AM)
International Education Partners (AM) is a fully-owned subsidiary company of International Education Partners (UK), based in Windsor, UK (IE Partners Ltd). It was established in the autumn of 2009 with the objective of developing Armenian capacity to provide high level educational consultancy, research and training services up to international standards based on the well-established skills, knowledge and reputation of the parent company.
The Directors and staff of IE Partners have had a long and successful working relationship with education reform in Armenia dating back to January 1994 when Tony Read and Amanda Buchan started work with the Ministry of Education and the World Bank on the planning, design and implementation of the national Textbook Rental Scheme and Revolving Fund, which still operates very successfully in 2009 as the basis for the full provision of textbooks to all students in all grades. Tony Read was the lead technical facilitator in the development of the National Curriculum Framework and the individual subject syllabuses for primary and secondary schools. Amanda Buchan worked with the Ministry of Education on the development of the library components of the second stage of the Educational Quality and Relevance Project (EQRP) and Nick Read has worked intensively during 2009 on the development and launch of the Armenian language version of e-VOLUTION, the interactive ICT training web portal for teachers.
